family cooking class was great, fun for both our child and parents and meal was delicious. it's unclear why the pickup/gathering spot had to be further down the street from the actual cooking class, and it was a little haphazard at first with attendees all there before the representative showed up to pick us up. so one less star was for the pickup process but actual cooking class event was fantastic.

Tour Itinerary

What will I see?

The whole family will be swept up in an exciting culinary adventure as you enjoy preparing and tasting a traditional Tuscan meal under the guidance of an experienced local chef.

What will I do?

Every member of the family will have an opportunity to express their creativity among the fragrant aromas, vibrant colors, and fresh organic ingredients of an authentic Florentine kitchen. Together, you'll prepare traditional Tuscan starters of focaccia bread and small pizzas, followed by a main course of fresh tagliatelle egg pasta with vegetarian and ragout sauces. For dessert, you'll prepare the "gelato Buontalenti", which bears the name of the Florentine artist who invented gelato in the Renaissance, surprising and thrilling the guests during a sumptuous banquet offered by Medici family.
Once you've mastered your new skills in the kitchen, you'll enjoy the delicious meal you have prepared, getting the taste of a healthy Mediterranean diet.

Why should I go?

The whole family will love this unforgettable experience in a traditional Tuscan kitchen. Learning new culinary skills from an experienced Italian chef is better than any souvenir, and as a special treat each child will receive a 'Little Chef' certificate to celebrate the completion of their training!
